  • Stephen and Mal's apartment

Stephen shows off his recording setup for Bioshock: it allows him to record PC games at 60 frames per second in full HD without using up a lot of computing power. Normally when recording footage from a PC, people will use screen capture software like Fraps or DXtory, but Stephen now uses an Elgato HD60 capture card.

After giving it a few tries, Stephen discovers that the card must be plugged into the computer and another screen (such as a television) for his computer to recognize the capture card as a screen. He's had no problems with recording since figuring this out and recommends the Elgato HD60 to anyone looking to record PC games in higher quality.
