- Stephen and Mal's apartment
Today, Pokémon Go launches and it's a momentous day for gamers and Pokémon fans around the world. But Stephen will not be downloading the game for now. Hayley noticed - and shared on Twitter - a concerning section of the game's terms of service, which indicates that "your... location may be shared through the App with other users who are playing the game." In other words, when you catch a Pokémon at home or at work, the company running the game, Niantic, might potentially be able to share that location with other users.
Stephen doesn't believe that Niantic is purposely trying to collect and share personal information to other users (it's probably for common areas such as gyms), but their current terms of service indicate that this would be possible. So for now, Stephen will not be downloading Pokémon Go.
