- Stephen's House
Stephen is editing when he gets distracted by a storm and goes out to look at it. The electricity goes out, which reminds Stephen that he has to purchase a surge protector that has a battery back-up so Stephen can save his work. Stephen washes potatoes and Mallory then cooks "hobo packets" and they list the steps in the video description, which are to preheat to 350º, get some aluminum foil, put olive oil on the foil, cut up potatoes, mushrooms, onions, carrots and put onto the foil, prepare beef with the seasoning of your choice and minced garlic and salt/pepper, roll the beef into balls/patties, add to packet, add more seasoning, salt, pepper, and oil, seal the packet, add some water, and cook for 60-70 minutes. Mallory says that you can use any meat as a replacement for the beef.
They make four "hobo packets" overall. Stephen points out the picture of a giraffe on Mallory's left hand. Stephen says that he would switch the carrots out for broccoli and Mallory says that she would switch them out for mushrooms. Stephen says it would taste the best if it was slow cooked for 8 hours. Stephen asks the Vlog audience if they have ever had hobo packets, and if they have had some, what kind of ingredients they used and how long they cooked them for. He says that he didn't used to eat broccoli until Mallory turned him onto them, and she says that green beans are next.
- Stephen takes extra care in pronouncing "giraffe" after the trouble he had on Day 91.
