Summary[]
Today, Stephen and Mal drive from Las Vegas, Nevada to Flagstaff, Arizona. Early on in the drive, they attempt to catch a glimpse of the Hoover Dam, but are unsuccessful due to an inconvenient traffic barrier. They stop at an IHOP about two hours away from the Grand Canyon. Mal has a chicken, spinach, and mushroom crepe and soup, while Stephen has a salad and a sandwich. Then they make a pit stop in Ash Fork, Arizona and arrive at the Grand Canyon. Unfortunately it's raining quite heavily. So heavily that they are unable to actually see the canyon. Stephen jokes that the large puddle in front of he and Mal is "The New Grand Canyon".
They decide to take a more scenic route to Flagstaff. After making it to their hotel, Stephen says that he always prefers to enjoy staying at SpringHill Suites whenever he can due to the amenities and free breakfast. They go to Taverna for dinner, and Stephen highly recommends the restaurant. So much so that it gets the official StephenVlog 7 out of 7 Made of Angels seal of approval.
