I got the unique opportunity to speak to two different classes of 6th graders in Taiwan via Skype!
I learned a lot from this experience! It was a bit difficult phrasing my questions in ways they'd understand—I generally take the long way around explaining things, and usually implement adjectives and other non-necessities into my sentences, so I had to cut those out. It was also hard thinking about expressions that didn't work in their language (for example, when I asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up, I definitely should've phrased it as "what job do you want", and I probably would've gotten an answer different from "human"). It was a lot of fun and I believe I'll be doing it again in the future. Hopefully next time will be even better.
