Previous Vlog (Day 2696) | Next Vlog (Day 2698)

People[]

Locations[]

  • Which Wich?
  • Stephen and Mallory's house

Summary[]

The vlog starts off with lunch at Which Wich? with Dan, so that they could pass Dan some stuff they've recorded as well as pick up some stuff from Dan that he's finished. As a bonus, Dan shares his preference for tomatoes and tomato products.

They also discuss their plans to watch MST3K Revival with their friends over Skype. This brings up the topic of Movie Club, which hasn't happened since Day 2643, because everyone has been busy or sick or out of town, which has made scheduling Movie Club difficult. It has been especially difficult recently since Lindsey has gotten a side-job just for fun as well.

Back at the house, Stephen and Mallory recorded the March Q&A, and changed up their lighting set-up from the February Q&A so that the light is more diffused and makes them look less 'ghoulish' (for lack of a better word).

Next up on the agenda is to record the March mail video, but first, ginger ale! They had picked up some locally made ginger ale earlier from Publix, called Blenheim Hot Ginger Ale. Surprise, surprise: it burns your throat after you drink it. Unfortunately, they bought 6 of them, which are all for Stephen to drink (since Mal doesn't like it), unless he decides to force on unwilling guests.

Later at night, Stephen talks about his experience playing Yooka-Laylee for First20, which he describes as just Banjo-Kazooie. Before ending the vlog, he adds that though he had to stay up a bit, he had a really productive day.

Quotes[]

  • "It's like ginger ale, and then your throat's on fire for no reason." - Stephen
  • "Poor Dan." - Mal, after Stephen suggests getting people to try the ginger ale

Notes[]

  • Dan doesn't like eating tomatoes in any form unless they are chopped or grinded up, and should not be a paste. Cherry tomatoes are also unacceptable to Dan.
  • Stephen had been following Yooka-Laylee before its release, and did a First20 of the Yooka-Laylee Toybox.
  • Stephen is also a big fan of the Banjo-Kazooie games, which he covered in a Demo Fridays episode. He and Mal also played the first game during Extra Life 2015.
