He touches on an urban legend that was found to be true today. Back in 1982, Atari released an E.T. game as a movie tie-in that was universally panned by critics. Thus, very few copies were sold, and they were all returned to the factory. The urban legend stated that Atari took the copies of the game into the desert and buried them. The truth of this legend was unknown until today, where they were found by a group making a documentary on the subject.
For dinner, he and his parents head to a local Mexican restaurant. Afterwards, Stephen heads home and he (once again) stays up quite late.
