People[]
Locations[]
- Stephen and Mal's apartment
- Stephen's car
Summary[]
Stephen's car radio is a bit outdated - it has no auxiliary port and no Bluetooth capabilities. He decides on a whim to get a Bluetooth FM transmitter for his car. Long story short, it works pretty well!
Notes[]
Stephen has since posted an updated review of the product in the video description:
- Update, since we've been using this device for about 3 weeks now: it works well, but it must be unplugged and plugged back in every time the car is started. It's a little inconvenient, but I just unplug it when turning off the car, so after I start the car I plug it in, then it's good to go. It connects to the phone quickly (about 3-5 seconds), then you can press the device to start playing music.
- I also had a chance to use it for a phone call and it was not that great. It worked, but I had to shout so the other person could hear me. I could hear them just fine, though.
- As a device used solely for music, though, it's pretty great and a lot cheaper than replacing the entire radio. Overall I'd recommend it.
