- Stephen and Mallory's house
It's sometime in the afternoon, and the whole family is enjoying seeing the wildlife outside their window, cats included. Mallory has downloaded an application on her phone for bird-watching so that she can identify the birds that come to the bird feeder. She also points out some turtles in the pond.
In the meantime, Stephen talks about how they need to keep getting work done, so they have an easier time preparing for their upcoming trip to Arizona and Utah (visiting the Grand Canyon!) in late May. It's going to be a trip with Mallory's extended family on her dad's side. He's mostly worried about Mal, since she usually doesn't know how much time has to go into each painting when she starts it.
Some time later, Mallory has done some work on "Onett Jazz" and it's looking good, especially the rock of the cliff, which is a marked improvement from her problems with painting rocks in the past, like "Forbidden Lands". Stephen has also done well on his end, and mentions that his ear is doing a lot better since the previous day. He is looking forward to his ENT appointment the next day as well.
All that's left is to eat dinner and go to sleep.
